Some people enjoy sitting at the game table for a night of poker, while others prefer an evening of live entertainment or living it up at a party. For some, nothing satisfies more than a good round of golf. You can do it all at Tiger Jam

This year’s event is set for May 18-19 at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, marking the event’s twentieth anniversary. The weekend includes golf at a world-class course (Shadow Creek), playing poker side-by-side with some of the best players in the world, enjoying unbelievable entertainment at a private concert, and having fun at the post-party at Topgolf. And yes, Tiger Woods will be there. He’s the founder and host of Tiger Jam and attends events throughout the weekend.

Los Angeles hosted the first Tiger Jam, but the event moved to Las Vegas the following year and over time has become the amazing weekend it is today. Much of the event takes place at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, the largest single hotel in the United States, and known for its high level of entertainment. Preferred room rates are available for Tiger Jam guests.

While folks attend to enjoy themselves, Tiger Jam’s ultimate purpose is to raise money for TGR Foundation’s educational programs. The Foundation stands as an unwavering advocate for the transformative power of education. They give underserved students the tools and support needed to thrive in school and beyond—the resources for lifelong success in school, their communities, and the working world. TGR Foundation believes in defying labels, restrictions and stigmas by empowering students to excel and exceed beyond all expectations. They offer STEM curricula (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), college-access programs, and teacher professional development. Tiger Jam is the Foundation’s original and one of its most impactful fundraisers.

This year’s Tiger Jam kicks off on Friday, May 18 at MGM Grand with Tiger’s Poker Night, an evening limited to poker players and their guests. For a charity buy-in, players have a chance to play with stars, athletes and poker professionals such as Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Mike Sexton and Maria Ho. The evening culminates in a lively final table and great prizes for the winners. Imagine the tension, the electricity in the air, as one player raises the stakes, countered by another—a lively and entertaining scene lasting well into the night, a night to remember. An interesting side note, Adam Pliska, president of World Poker Tour is the proud mentor to one of the Foundation’s Earl Woods Scholars.

Your golfing experience will take place on a private world-class course, one that may be on your bucket list. Friday’s golf exhibition and outing give you and your team the chance to sharpen your skills, preparing you to play your best at the Saturday tournament. Shadow Creek is a legendary course sculpted from the Nevada desert by architect Tom Fazio. Not only is the course superior, but the views are breathtaking, complete with three lakes broken by three waterfalls, and set against a rugged mountain backdrop. According to the owners, “the 18th hole is a combination of every golf shot, every design treatment and every setting created on the rest of the holes at Shadow Creek.” This will definitely be a golf experience to remember.

Saturday evening’s entertainment is a time to kick back, or rather kick up your heels, and for ladies to kick off their heels. It’s a time to enjoy a favorite beverage, as well as food prepared by renowned chefs. Artists like Darius Rucker, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Keith Urban have performed in previous years. (This year’s entertainment is yet to be announced.) Throughout the evening, keep your eyes open, as you never know who might be standing nearby, someone famous you can brag about to the folks back home—an entertainment or sports star, a supermodel, a golf pro you’ve admired on TV.

An auction is also part of the Saturday evening activities. There you will have a chance to bid on luxury items, to grow an existing collection or start a new one. You will have the opportunity to bid on travel packages to places you’ve only dreamed of, your chance to see the world. The auction also offers an opportunity to showcase your brand to Tiger Jam VIPs. Donors are welcome to add their product or experience to the suite of auction items. Check the website, TigerJam.com to learn how to donate.

Don’t let this sellout opportunity slip by—golf, poker, entertainment and the possibility of rubbing shoulders with Tiger Woods and other celebrities. Tiger Jam offers the ultimate Las Vegas weekend, an experience packed with money-can’t-buy moments. Consider it an occasion for a couple’s getaway, time with friends or as a corporate client entertainment.

According to the event hosts, “Tiger Jam is an event experience unlike any other. Guests can play golf at Shadow Creek, a bucket-list golf course, play poker side-by-side with the best poker players in the world. They get to experience unbelievable entertainment at a private concert and an epic post-party at Topgolf. They get to enjoy non-stop entertainment with Tiger and celebrity guests—all to raise money for TGR Foundation’s educational programs. Tiger Jam is a must-attend event that’s sold-out every year.”
