There is a bit of blarney at the LINQ and the whole area is the better for it. The Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery is not only a fun spot for some lively spirits and serious sports watching, but the line-up of pub and Irish favorites is also leaving a lasting impression on the culinary scene.

Smiling faces are in all corners of the place. The friendly staff, led by General Manager Scot Burton, makes sure everyone has a good time.

When it is time to get down to some serious dining, one must-have from the Pub Appetizers menu are the TK Irish Nachos. A full dish of fresh-cooked crispy potato chips are immersed in their signature Guinness Beer Cheese Sauce, seasoned ground beef and tomatoes. Classic nachos are also available along with a worthy spinach artichoke dip and pub pretzels. A soup that can be added on or consumed as an entree is the beer cheese soup that is made from a secret recipe that combines a creamy blend of cheese, onions, carrots, celery and Guinness.

Looking for a salad? How about the labor-intensive chopped offering with a fresh lettuce blend and roasted turkey, red and green peppers, tomatoes, red onions, chopped bacon and mozzarella. They also have a classic Caesar made just the way you would expect with crunchy croutons.

Of course you will find a list of Irish classics. Shepherd’s Pie is an especially noteworthy offering. Seasoned ground beef, carrots, peas and mushroom gravy sit on top of red skin mashed potatoes with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Garlic toast is included. This is a light and airy version of an Irish favorite.

It wouldn’t be a pub without fish and chips and this version features cod filets hand-dipped in Samuel Adams Boston Lager beer batter. The homemade tartar sauce is an excellent dip for the fish. French fries and coleslaw fill up the plate.

If you are longing for some Irish stew don’t hesitate to order it. Tender pieces of beef pot roast, red potatoes, carrots, celery, onions and peas are slow-cooked in a beer-beef stock.

A line-up of Kilt Sandwiches includes an Irish Dip that has a mound of rib eye steak topped with melted Swiss cheese and a side of au jus perfect for dunking. The Kilt Club is awash with turkey, applewood smoked bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and sun-dried tomato pesto mayo. A full menu of burgers is also available.

Gaelic Chicken will entice you to do a jig. Pan-seared chicken breasts with sautéed mushrooms and onions are cooked with Irish Whiskey Cream. A choice of mashed potatoes or fettuccine is included.

Save room for Tilted Guilt featuring a partially-baked gooey chocolate chip or white chocolate macadamia brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce on top

Signature cocktails you won’t want to miss include Purple Haze with Smirnoff Grape Vodka, peach Schnapps, Blue Curacao, cranberry juice, Sprite and freshly-squeezed lemon and lime juices. A seasonal offering is the Bramble Smash. Blue Moon with Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey, lemon juice and Monin raspberry puree all mix beautifully in this one.

Speaking of drinks, “Hoppy Hour” is held Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Late night sessions take place from 10 p.m. to close Sunday through Wednesday. What makes this one special is a unique menu of food not on the regular menu. Corned beef and cabbage spring rolls, cheese bites and whiskey beef skewers are just a few to consider.

Enjoy an authentic Irish experience without leaving Las Vegas at the Tilted Kilt.
